It's the processor. If you write songs with slower BPMs than intended but lower the groove, it improves it.

I can't do that, I'm using d commands for triplets.

That was probably the greatest sketch they've ever done.

They're not the same thing if you're doing things that don't loop or things that have multiple different length loops/not looping.

I really like tables though. An option for either would be cool.

That means you're only using one instrument for both channels. Put the cursor over the number in the instrument column and tap a twice, that will create a new instrument. I would recommend reading the manual too so you get a good understanding of how instruments work in lsdj.

Edit: you can also use e commands to change the envelope of an instrument independent of the envelope specified on the instrument screen. Hope I helped you at all.

4 Track looper, 1 for each channel

NNNNNNNNNN is a god.

Has Kool Skull always been like this and I've just never noticed?

Maybe somebody in aus quit chiptune and gave away their carts.

I really love it when the chiptune community is unanimously angry about something. Usually plagiarism controversies. I feel like a part of an angry mob, but the righteous kind.

It'll suck if you keep asking the wrong questions.

I can tell that's really deep, but I don't understand what it means.

I'm trying to say that asking specific and thoughtful questions about your work gets you specific and thoughtful feedback. The best way to learn to improve is to ask what specifically is good or bad about your work.

I think the snares in the intro could use some envelope changes, think like marching snare rolls or the intro to 'Infinite Daps' by RL Grime and Baauer. Melodically this seems to work pretty well although I find myself wanting a bit more of a clear structure. I'm not saying you should make jarring changes every 4 phrases or something but I think an indicator that says "this section is different from this section" like drum fills or surprising pauses makes a song more enjoyable than slowly adding layers. Also, experiment a little more with commands on pulse instruments, I feel your melodies could be seriously improved by the introduction of L commands in some areas.

Other than that, just work on volume control (which every lsdj user needs to do, nobody ever really has it perfect) and practice practice practice. Keep doing what you're doing.
