Hey what's up y'all? Kool Skull here! this past year has been freaking crazy so far. I have a lot of rad things going on, and a really great new album coming out. it's gonna be a sort of long time coming, but until then, I have these unreleased songs that I'm probably not going to do anything with beyond how they are. most of them were produced on my iphone, Coral Sunset and Seahorse magic were recorded with an old casio keyboard and Reaper. Tear it Up was recorded on my iPad with Retina Display using Cubase. Never Wanted to thrash, Thrashdafucup, Digital fart, and the la bamba remix were all edited using piggy tracker and then mastered in Reaper.. idk in case u nerds gave a shit. whatever, reaper is pretty sickass. i'd stick to it if i were u. everything else was pretty much nanostudio. dirty texxts was 100% nanostudio on my iphone. vox were recorded on my iphone 4.

Using the money made from this album to keep my site up and for stickers n shyz. if you really aint got the cashola, that's cool, make up some fan art and post em online to ur friends and I'll send you a download code if u email me at: [email protected]

P.S. CUBASIS IS THE ULTIMATE SHIT if u got an ipad. its expensive, but worth it. ok love you all! xoxoxoxoxoxo

I think it's fun and super featured for iOS but editing patterns and notes was really clumsy to me, even basic stuff like cut/slice/copy/paste and zooming

wroooonnng dude its the only ios app that has efficient yimeline editing!! every other app has like stupid ass animations while parts move around! it nught be werird to get used to at first but once you get the hang of it, its the only app where making music makes sense

i dont do percentage deals. i just want cash up front, with custome written terms of service on the invoice. terms saying something like "ok youre only paying me $150 right now but if these shirts sell more than $5,000 in revenue, you owe me $150 more. if you make more than $10,000 you owe me $1000 more along with 5% revenue gathered from said product i helped be a part of"
just to be sure youre clear about what ur doing.

make a big number up and ask. be willing to go down if theyre budget doesnt allow it tho. if they brag avout "millions" of dowbloads then id ask around $300-$500 or so, but initially say $700 and go down

to be honest, from what i've heard from recent chip releases and shit, i think Beastmode is currently the most influential chip artist even tho he's not around. even if u dont know who he is, u prolly are influenced by someone who tried to work on his tip. i say we all try and crowdfund a ton of money to make his french canadian ass put out a full length chip record asap.

Welcome to 2011. Glad you finally arrived.

um ok?
