So before I was deciding to buy a gb cart i came across this.
What do you guys think? For the price and if you have one how well is it?
its free shipping but comes from china so the wait time is a while.
I dont mind it tho since i have a cart but doesnt hurt to have more for a GBA/SP or DS

Hehe...hecks yeah smile
That is a surprise isn't it? I think I got that once too because I made a post once about chip and car audio, posted a vid of my Gameboy pounding my sub, then I log in the next day and the bubble said "Bass! How low can you go?"
It could've either been a coincidence because....Chuck D, or I got some love from our kind hosts.

Hey, I'm not super experienced with LSDJ myself even though in my head my tunes are slightly improving but someone else newish to it around feels a little less lonely haha. Cheers.

Just for the public record, I read the title of this thread as "Hello Fellow Chipmutizens" in my head for some excellent reason.

So ive been wanting to get into tunes smile
I recently got a flash cart and i got LSDJ among other games when i wanna relax.
My question is where can I go to get a good understanding of LSDJ?
I my main obsticle is how to construct a song.. How does one remember the chains and such and instruments.. do you keep track of them on a notebook or just good memory?
Sorry for noob questions ;o

Live mode ftw xD
I only have one gameboy running LSDJ so live mode suits it a little better.... i get less confused if i use it on live mode

You got used to LIVE mode tongue
Haha i tried writing on song mode but i just get way to confused with sorting stuff out

There was a time I would say compose in SONG then break it up into LIVE but I've been doing just LIVE mode for awhile. This way I can focus in on a specific part of a song and don't have to stop and rewind to edit things. The downside is I tend to forget what needs to be triggered in what order when going back to older songs to practice but using the bookmark feature (B,B,B on a selected chain) definitely helps. I've never had issues during recording because I rarely make mistakes. Since I write in LIVE mode I literally have practiced over and over how the song is going to play live while writing it. It's also going to save some space on your cart.

Sorry i apologize im new :3 wont happen again :3

Edited title for clarity, moved to correct forum. Please make sure your post titles are clear as per the rules. Thanks!

So SONG is the way to go? smile or just a personal prefferance? smile

Aeros wrote:

SONG, of course, to prevent fuckups in recording, and also so that you don't have to it all live every time you play the song and edit it. arrange LIVE later if you want to do live sets imo.

Hello peeps smile
What do you think is better?
Composing a song in LIVE mode or in SONG mode?
smile Just a curious question big_smile i seen people do it in live and in song but which one is more
common to use?
