If the binary launch on the gcw zero it will have bug.
I have not check anything on this platform so don't worry about it.
PM me for your gcw zero, i'd like to port picoloop on this hardware, but unfortunately I will not bid really high or maybe I can trade something.

Great job Jangler.
It was my first Linux Tracker and it's a great software.
it is so close to impulse tracker, or maybe schism/impulse is the same software dunno.

Re: Sampler for short stabs (11 replies, posted in General Discussion)
For one shot sample with easy triggering, cutoff reverb, delay, chop, I would definitely go for nanostudio on IOS, really simple to use. you can drag and drop sample from a third party apps on windows.
It let you have 4 giga of sample with an old device like an ipod of iphone 3. The apps cost 10 euros IIRC.
The idea here is to buy or reuse an old device.
If you want to sequence sample not in live mode, for song or pattern yes, lgpt is made for this and will do a better job.

The EZFlash IV is definitely better.
But the supercard sd is still not garbage.
You can launch gb, gba and nes roms and for this, it is cool.

IIRC, the ezflash iv is the best card ever for gba.
It had a NOR storage and a sd or mini sd slot slot which let you write the gba roms to a fast storage on the card directly from the gba.
it take time to write the roms to the NOR, 2 minutes, but it run at native speed. Don't know the savestate...
The other card works but they sucks for software support ( for example patching roms ) and streaming the roms from the card to the gba.
I don't have the ezflazh iv because it cost lots more.
This is what I remember from various forum, so don't trust too much my opinion, this is just what is in my memories when I play gba games on gba three years ago.

I have this kind of cart.
You have to patch rom with a strange software to be able to use savestate. And it works for 2/3 of roms.
The bad things about this kind of flash cart is it is limited to 2GiB mini or micro sd card.
I may be wrong but if i remember well it is the case.
Some game stream a lot of data from the card and this game will be slow, because this card doesn't stream data fast. So some game are slow, but not all and lots of game run at native speed.
If you have no gba card, take it, it is good.
I use this and a psp to play all gba game.

I'm near to buy a pi3 with lcd and case. this one seem to be really fine and cheap. But I don't want tons of usb stuff plugged on it, only ps3 blutooth pad and usb midi.
that case looks like the one i ordered at one point for my b+, which was a piece of crap. 6 pieces of poorly cut plexiglass that barely fit together and got in the way of connecting anything to most of the ports.... i'd go for something better to be safe
I'd like to take a good case with lcd on it. Make it really portable. If anybody here has good suggestion, you are welcome.

Re: Picoloop nanoloop clone (257 replies, posted in Software & Plug-ins)
It could take me one or two hours our to fix this L/S display issue. I should take time to solve it
And unfortunately, there is a bug on the PSP version with the steplenght of a pattern, for an unknow reason it seem to be blocked at 16 step and 32 step ?? So you can switch between 16 and 32 step for now, but not more... I have to dig it. It should be simple, but I don't know why it is on the PSP build.
And Yes I have received my analog four.
it is a real beeaaast.
The sound is really great, and the parameter lock are really a must. When you have work with it, you can not go back. On the sound side, you can not think there is only four voice, because the reverb and delay helps a lot on this side. It give me lots of idea for picoloop.
I need the Rythm now
The funny thing about the parameter lock is : nanoloop, lsdj and most tracker have this feature.
Lot of expensive sequencer don't have it.
Really funny, because lots of users like it.

Picoloop 0.66 is out.
More than 16 step available : 32,48,64,80.... 128
Minor bugfix.
Bank are reduced to 32 pattern instead of 128, because the 128 step and 128 pattern took too much space on PSP.
Version for PSP and windows only.
