Maybe one day it will run on Nintendo DS.
This little console has a lot of power, it run genesis rom really well.
So it should run FM chip really well too.
But it will need a lot of work and some feature should be fit because actually the program consume 10Mo of ram and DS has 2Mo IIRC.
The next platform will be PSP I think.

But first I need to clean it and do cosmetic change.

First thing you need to remember :
- there is three different "machine" in picoloop : picosynth, opl2 ( a dosbox adlib synth FM 2 operator ), picodrum a drum synth this machine are selectable by step on the 4 track ;
- opl2 use two ADSR for the two operator ;
- picosynth and picodrum use only the first ADSR ( so the amp ) ;
- all machine has FX : delay for the moment
- all machine has Filter : amsynth filter/biquad filter(lp/bp/hp)/no filter ;
- the LFO only work on picosynth and picodrum ;

You only have the live mode, the song mode need some IO rewrite which will come in some week.

Thanks a lot egr !!!
Tell me what you like and what you hate.
Now I need feedback to improve this stuff because it can sound great but it is not clean and polished.
And I'm aware there is a lot to improve.

Here my first windows build :

The user interface will be cleaned in the future, because it is not really easy to use and some stuff will be weird for you.
This Readme describe the keypad :  https://github.com/yoyz/audio/blob/master/README.md
Now all of you can have a first overview of how it works and how it sound.
You need to use headphone because the sound is really low.

Maybe I misunderstand what you are saying, but you must not rename the "lgptsav.dat" file.
You can only rename the directory which contain this file.

When you boot your dingoo, it will be display.
Bleo post a video on this page which show "opendingux", if it is not display, you don't have opendingux.

The soft only works on opendingux OS and on debian for now.
I've update  the Readme which describe the keypad :  https://github.com/yoyz/audio/blob/master/README.md

Sorry bleo wait for one minute , it will run.
I will add a loading screen.

I say bullshit...

Nanoloop 1.x is good in master mode.
It works nicely.
So all midi/gb stuff need to be put in slave.
In slave mode it had some stnc problem...

The MAC menu let you choose:
- psynth : a basic VA synth with two oscillator and an amp ADSR
- opl : the dosbox/bsa opl2 synth
- pdrum : a VA drum synth

The FX : let you put some delay

The AD: let you browse the two ADSR
Only the first ADSR is use for psynth and pdrum
Opl2 use two operator so two ADSR

L/S : is the load/save there will be song in it soon

Thank you Bleo, Here is the one I use today on my opendingux :

https://www.dropbox.com/s/uccspmwkpbxwr … p.zip?dl=0

One thing, the apps take near 40s to start, because it compute all the waveform, so you will see 16 box which are frozen.
Then it start.

The zip contain :
- picoloop.dge : the apps ;
- pattern :  dataP*  which are saved in the zip, so you can hear how it sound on my test pattern ;
- two file font.ttf and font.bmp which are not optional ;

I suggest you to put all file in a directory on your opendingux.
If you have trouble to understand the keypad, you can use the nanoloop 2.X documentation.
my documentation is really average.

So, no one use a dingoo ?

I use lsdjmc2 for this, it's reliable, the sync is good in slave mode. they are difficult to find.
I have try arduinoboy, and same thing, only slave mode works fine.

I had try nanoloop 1.6 and 2.3 or 2.5 in this mode.
