Well yea, thanks everyone for all your advice and such, I bought a Color and a DMG last week, since they were pretty cheap, hardest part was just finding them. I recieved my cartridge with LSDJ from Kitsch yesterday, so Imma watch some tutorial videos later today. And all this discussion about jazz is so goooooode. I major in jazz guitar in college so Imma try to make some jazzy bloops and rock'n'rolly bleeps.

Well thanks everyone for all the advice, I just got a GBC yesterday, and I'm going to go look for a DMC during the weekend. I still need to buy the Cartridge, I googled it but there are so many websites, so I'm not sure where to get it from, any good site u guys recommend?

(I suppose the GBC would be a slick well-setup Squier Tele and the DMG a Gibson Les Paul with the action too high and sticky residue on the neck),

What would be an SG?

like they said it can be done, but i cant understand needing to be handheld so bad that you wouldnt use the computer you typed this thread on to emulate lsdj before your ds. my suggestion is to download bgb for your computer and the lsdj rom, then check your local craigslist/flea market for any type of cheap gb before using your ds. now . . . if you have a slot 1 flashcart there are some pretty awesome music programs for ds that arent lsdj (korg series, nitro tracker, etc.)

well i dont really want to do it when im at home thats the thing, I play guitar so when Im at home I just play on that, I want something on the go. So where exactly could i get a flash card? Can i buy it in a store or is only online?
