I have the same worry when writing but I agree with jmc1987. The repetition seems very natural. I really liked the sound design on this track, especially the kick drum.

Could you actually tell me how you made it lol?

I made this song. It's a really rough bounce of the song off the gameboy. No mixing or editing was done so any advice in that category would be helpful. Other CC would be helpful too. Thanks!

Well you could play it on real hardware with a flash cart.

Do you know how it affects the sound quality? Would LSDJ sound any different on the virtual boy or would it just be a weird thing to do?

I'll see if I can set up my NES tonight and type out some of my Pulsar patches. I've made a few pulse kicks, crashes, high hats, leads and whatnot.

Pulsar is a great program. I need to start using it more again. I'm personally holding out hope for MIDI integration so I can use it with my other pieces of hardware. Thats why I haven't been using it that much, I've been so wrapped up in playing with my new toys I've acquired over the past month...

That would be awesome, Thanks!

There are tons of resources for the lsdj instrument patches all over but not as many for Pulsar. I just started learning today but I thought it would be useful for more than just me if some more experienced Pulsar users posted some of their favorite patches!

And if I take a 1/4 can i put my game boy on my guitare amp?

PS : your sandwich looks awesome !!!

Yeah! Its been said already I think but just a reminder that 1/4 inch you may have to move some stuff around to make room. I would say that for performance pro-sound isn't incredibly necessary. For recording though the difference is pretty evident, or at least it was on my dmgs. It probably varies a bit.

What's the model of display are you using for that? It looks awesome so far.

This will help you make some synths

If you haven't already you should read the manual, it's one of the best ways to get ideas to mix up your songs. Printing one out and just keeping it around will be useful for more or less your entire lsdj career. http://www.littlesounddj.com/lsd/latest … _3_7_4.pdf

And some general tips from a real pro that will seriously your work flow. http://sabrepulse.blogspot.com/2010/06/ … -tips.html

Kind of an weird tip but still one of the coolest lsdj videos I've seen

Sorry that none are in french!

So I found that in my case it was more trouble that it was worth... parallels or using an ubuntu vm was what I found was the easiest way.

I don't know how he did that, but I am about to spend a lot of time trying to copy it.

I'd personally love to see a Pulsar to Pulsar sync somehow with a live mode on a dual NES setup.

10 channels of NES would be amazing too!

Sorry if this is a dumb question but what program are you running on the commodore?

So, I would post a picture but I really don't think you will be able to see much... all the leds make it a big mess of wires. However I have double checked my connections and I believe they are correct. I could draw a picture of how I put it together exactly, though it won't be very pretty if you guys think that will help.

Here is the schematic: http://noizeinabox.blogspot.com/2013/08 … lease.html

As for the code, I got all of the code from here: https://code.google.com/p/noizeinabox/downloads/list

The only change I made to the code was when I opened up the the file titled "Arduinoboy1_2_3_teensy.ino" I dragged all of the other files into the same sketch folder and added "#include <insert other files here>"

Edit: I decided to go ahead and draw it. Let me know if its unclear anywhere but this is exactly as I put it together.

So I put together my Teensyboy recently and Im not sure if I have made a mistake or just don't know how to use it or what. I followed the schematics pretty closely and right now when I turn it on and plug it into my gameboy and computer 5 of the 7 leds light up and flash a bit. Pressing the pushbutton does disconnect the circuit and seems to switch modes but its difficult to tell. the LEDs definitely don't stay on to indicate the mode. Also after a while of it being plugged in the pushbutton doesn't seem to have any effect at all. My ableton does recognize the teensy as a midi device but when I put lsdj in slave mode (I also attempted in midi mode just in case) and send it a C2 note nothing seems to happen. I might have been getting ahead of myself by trying to use it to sync when I can't really tell which mode its in but I figured if I restarted it and pressed the push button 1-7 times it would have to work eventually but it did not. Another thing that might be worth noting is that I used a DMG-07 however I followed the color coding for them listed here:

http://littlesounddj.wikia.com/wiki/PC_ … _Interface

Does anybody have any ideas what I might be doing wrong? It seems like it's so close to working.
