I'd like to thank SketchMan3 for liking my music and being a really decent guy. Also, he's pretty much the only other chip artist I know who lives in my state.
now we're talking
you should personally thank each particular artist that you have in mind.. i feel like that would mean way more than a general thank you to whoever. like if i were ever to release anything here, a personal msg/post from you saying that you appreciated the release and why would make me sooper happy, whereas reading the opening post of this thread wouldn't necessarily. i might be the only one that feels this way doe

and i'm dumb because? so i was a bit aggressive but it's because i can't take any of this chipmoney talk seriously. 'refuse another outlet of revenue' i like how everyone's a businessman trying to handle their business, man.
You're dumb because you give the impression that you would refuse money to write music for a living. I don't get it. Does the refusal of that money put you on some higher moral plane of artistry?
no ur dumb! hah!
Sad news indeed! My favorite compilations of chipmusic is Heartcode (despite being a bit old)..
heartcode was my introduction to the chip world!

woah really? i actually think it is kind of cool.. it definitely gives the 100 releases a sort of legendary status- probably well deserved. i pretty much feel the same as i do when a good band disbands: bummed to not get any more music from that band, and yet happy for what they have accomplished and almost proud to have "witnessed" the disband. i imagine being 60 and being able to tell my chip-enthusiast grandchild "i remember when i was your age and pause was still putting out releases!"

all of the audio jacks (the three inputs and one output) are all TS = mono, correct? so the output is a mono signal? i am planning on building this this week
just another question- i have two pots on me, one is 500k, one is 10k.. will the 10k still function ok? and the resistors i have are 680-ohm. i saw that timbob mentioned these would work ok and i'm just interested to see if i can get away with using what i have on hand rather than having to go buy more
sorry for the noobish questions- i am still learning!
right but you can easilly use trs jacks and stereo pots instead.
ah ok i figured- thank you!
