Yes sir it is. Just open it up and follow the traces back to the CPU.

I need a web designer and/or someone that's well versed in HTML to make my websites look cool.
I could trade my services or pay.
Thanks!

Open it up. Look next to the cart socket. There are 2 small resistors. Solder your left and right on the side of the resistors closest to the cart socket.
I might do a tut for this soon.
It's insanely simple like all pro-sound mods.

I called it a pocket because it is the same thing but a smaller version. Just like the Game Boy Pocket.
I just had to be really precise with cutting the shell apart. And I cut the tray down. Thanks a lot!

I have not worked with Arduino Boys at all. I hadn't had any midi software until today so I'm probably going to get a DMG from NeX with midi in out installed.
But get at him if you're trying to get one soon!
I plan to add this to my list once I do it on my own. But no telling when that will be.

Hey!
I updated the first post with more recent examples, mods and prices.
Check it out!

Oh yea, I mean if they were more affordable I would buy 50 of them. But $1.50 for a panel mount beats about $20.
I still may get one of these for one of my own and if you end up continuing to make these then I will definitely offer them on my commissions.
I think rebuilding parts of the Game Boy is so much cooler than just modifying the thing!

This is very awesome. I may never have a use for this but I think it's very cool you are getting these produced!

Thanks, Nick!
Pinned it to the cpu just like on a Game Boy.
But you have to cut the input traces that lead to the SNES.
SO, I cut those and put switches in so you can switch back and forth from SNES controller to NES controller.

Damn. Wrong forum...
Can this be moved to the Game Boy forum?

So I had a good long conversation with Loomis trying to build a super cool SGB.
In the end we came up with the Super LSDJ Boy:

1/8th" pro-sound.
Variable speed knob with on/off switch.
NES controller port with SGB/NES controller switch.
AND a volume pot on the top right!
Works awesome, looks awesome, does a lot of thing!

Here's the inside just for fun:

Sorry for the cell pics. Forgot to get some good photos before I shipped it out.

If you would like to order something similar just hit me up at: [email protected] !

Also, I've made a few of these bad boys now:

I call it the Super Game Boy Pocket!
Can put any of the mods listed above on if you would like one.
I can get shells in grey, red and black. THESE ARE NOT DYED!
