Thank you for this!  Been using MIDINES to just make basic sounds forever.  Recently started controlling it with the Digitakt and the interface seems a little easier for me.  Thanks for this detailed thread - I'm going to slowly go through it with the Digitakt and MIDINES in front of me smile

Hi all!  I'm trying to play shows in:
Pittsburgh, PA
Philadelphia, PA (I have contacted 8static)
Washington D.C.
Richmond, VA
Norfolk, VA
Charlotte, NC
Atlanta, GA

If you have any advice on venues, or if you are a musician that would be interested in sharing a bill, please let me know! :-)

Man, I gotta tell ya, you guys all sounded absolutely fantastic. That was some of the most fun I've had in a real long time. You're a real class act, too- I was pretty sheepish about coming over to talk to you after the show but you were really cool and I really appreciate the CD. Thank you for a helluva night!

Whoa!  What unbelievably kind words.  You are awesome - thanks for being at the show.  The Babycastles/Pulsewave crew was amazing!  You (and everyone else in attendance) were so welcoming to an out-of-towner.  I hope to be back soon heart heart heart

I sure hope you can find a show in Portland. I don't even know where to go for live chiptune stuff here.

Found one in Portland!  Maybe I'll see you there?

How come the only time I see people from WI on here is when they are going someplace else?

I heart The Brown Album

Hi there!  I'm travelling to the west coast in April.  Does anyone have any leads on shows/places to play in Los Angeles, San Francisco (already sent my info to 8bitSF), Portland, Seattle?

Here's a sampler of what I'll be performing with [house/chip/dance]: https://soundcloud.com/orangedrink/sets … 17/s-Xq885

fantastic!  thanks oliver. smile

I have Nanoloop 2.5 and I was playing a song in the song editor.  I noticed that I was able to stop the progression of playback and exit out to the main screen while the last pattern was looping.  from there, I was able to adjust the loop - which is nice to play a song and then "jam" on a certain segment and then come back in.

In Nanoloop 2.6 - if you are playing a song and exit out, does the audio cut out completely?  would it be possible to do what I mentioned?  (play a sequence, stay on a particular loop to edit, and then jump back into the sequence)

because this seems like a great live application...
