either option could work, though the easiest way would be to just use mono inputs on a mixer and center both channels.. if you're using a normal (non-dj) mixer similar to this, at least

the tutorials section is for sharing info you have that others may find useful, not for asking how to do something (or if if it's even possible)

The Outta Space, 6840 32nd St., Berwyn

Playing my first live set as a environmental sound collapse since April 2013 on New Years Eve in Berwyn, IL (near-west suburb of Chicago) with tooth_eye & DJ Erf Beats. Going to be playing a bunch of old tracks, probably even one or two tracks i never played live before.

moved to trading post and changed thread title to be more specific

midisolutions oddly does NOT use external power supplies for their midi thru boxes. not even the T8 rackmount.. so, you're ahead of one of the biggest manufacturers of midi peripherals

smart move going with a separate power source rather than relying on power over midi din. a surprisingly high number of devices don't send power over din these days (some for understandable reasons, such as piggy midi boxes, battery life on gp2x is rough enough without having to power other devices)

there's this.. obviously not straight baroque... http://sociopathrecordings.bandcamp.com … aroque-bit

okay, sorry but i am older and older and sometimes i forgot where i began in 1991 smile so everything made on computer is chip, and output is only D/A converter smile

not necessarily, but i'll leave explaining the distinction to those who've put far more thought into it than i have, like 4mat and goto80

Thx oliver

Thx for the info. So lsdj uses the internal sounds?
I just donated for lsdj. Is it okay to start it with EZ Flash IV? Because I have that one. Or which one should I get?

yeah, though using it on a GBA flash cart requires you use the goomba optimized version and wrap the .gb rom in a goomba .gba file (or at least used to, haven't messed with lsdj on a gba flash cart in years)... should be functionally almost identical, though you may need to use save states rather than saving directly in lsdj. if you end up getting really into lsdj, you'll probably eventually want to switch to using it on a ems 64 mb usb cart, drag n derp or other game boy flash cart as the ez flash IV only works in gba/gba sp/gb micro/ds/ds lite and most prefer using a dmg or gbc for lsdj (mostly for sound reasons, but also to avoid the whole save state thing)

yes, he is... sample -based tracker music (particularly if it's made with single-cycle waveforms and other very small samples) has been a part of chipmusic since at least the early 90s

Well it depends on what's being rebelled against.
