I have been working inside of Ableton for about 4 years now and made lots of different kinds of stuff before with one of my best friends where I am from, I have been wanting to get into chip for sometime and I have made some fakebit stuff through ableton. I mix music a fair amount and I am just trying to find people to help me better understand the genre and to learn more importantly. I want to absorb what I can from people who know what they are talking about. Where I am from was a small town and no one listened to anything but country and radio rock there. I am looking to learn and work with people that don't mind teaching. Here are some tracks that I made with a friend that are not chip related.

https://soundcloud.com/sobionic There are a few mixes we recorded live on there and at the bottom are a few tracks we decided were okay enough to upload. I also have a single song uploaded on here of a Fakebit hip hop instrumental. Check my music for that it's called Kicks and Chips.

I have some miscellaneous gear I have been wanting to use to do something with people I guess. I don't play any instruments because I haven't been able to afford piano lessons ever and I want to learn that eventually but as of now my creative outlet is only programming inside Ableton Live and mixing music. I have studied a decent amount of Music Theory. Not enough to be outstanding at discussing it, but enough to know that I need to learn more. Overall I am super interested in music and want to do anything I can to further my understanding of it.

Thanks for reading! I hope to stay in contact if anyone is willing to work on anything or hang out.

I just moved to the Cincinnatti area and I don't know anyone up here and I would love to work on music with someone. Any kind of music, I just want to work with someone besides myself. If you live in the area and are looking to collaborate with anyone I am up for that. Thanks for reading!

I have a a few in the works, but here is a pretty finished one. If you have any suggestions or would like me to edit anything in particular let me know. I have been really hoping to get someone on it. If you like it let me know.

I didn't see the later part of this topic title. I'm in a mobile phone. I haven't wrote any on a toilet.

I have wrote and played 8 songs live. These were not chiptunes though. They were a part of something I worked in with my friend. They were all dance tracks, sort if electro house.

Thanks for listening and any suggestions or advice is appreciated!

Edit- It was made to be rapped over and if any of you know of someone who might be up to the task I would absolutely love to hear that go down!

Edit Edit - I read the thread on getting better CC and am going to improve this post!

I am satisfied with the intro and the verses. They are repetitive, but that is how I think it should be since I want it to be suited for a hip hop artist to rap over. I think the transition from verse to chorus is okay, but could improve. I am satisfied with the sound design and the effects, but again any suggestion will certainly be considered.  This has also not been mixed down or mastered and any forward advice on that would also be appreciated. I wanted to not do that until I had a vocal track to mix it down with. Thanks for possibly rereading and sorry about not reading the sticky first.

Where I go to college at I am at liberty to create my own time slots on the internet radio station we have. I was considering doing an electro house show but I would change thatto chiptunes. It is college internet radio though so I could only have a few hours a week. I would love to do this.

Well the party was so disappointing. I started out with a very dancy glitch set and no one would move. I switch into some more hip hop stuff next and still no response the kids stood around and played  beer pong. About 80 people showed up and multiple people came up and told me man you're doing great or whatever. Granted I went to high school with a lot of these people. There was no energy with these people and it was depressing because this is how everything is in southern Ohio. After I turned things off people were literally climbing onto the gym stage telling me to plug stuff back in. In addition everyone was hammered and very hard to deal with. I love getting to mix for people so it wasn't terrible, but damn I hate my area.

In addition, I apologize for the mini rant. I busted out some I Am Your Destruction and a little Saberpulse, but like everything else I am not sure if it was listened too.
