I find it kind of insane that you could find ribbon cable and not just wire

I said useable wire.  All the wire I was finding was thicker gauge than I wanted to work with.  I installed a few biversion chips and the wire at radioshack and home depot was kind of thick.

I had to hit up a computer repair shop because radioshack, home depot, and the like did not have useable wire.  I just bought some ribbon cable and stripped it down.

I was totally planning on installing an arduinoboy into an NES controller but I am trying to finish other projects first.  Nice one though!

Don't sweat it mate.  Yours is much better than theres.  Hands down!  That switch on top is probably useless and the biohazard logo looks terrible.

This doesn't sound like they're just slapping a simple game together to make a quick buck on the iPhone.  It looks like they're putting much more time into it and the kickstarter says they will be attempting to have it on other platforms.

Also, the music is great Saskrotch.

No problem!  Can't wait to hear the whole track.

I think it sounds pretty awesome as is.  But... and this is a little but... maybe you can increase the bass a little bit.  Give it more oomph and it'll almost sound electro-ish.  Also, maybe shorten that intro a little bit.  Unless the entire song is a pretty good length and damn good, I don't really enjoy waiting for a drop for so long.

Can't wait to hear the whole track and the rest of the album though!

Bump.  Blue DMG sold.  Black DMG still available and is pretty nice.  Maybe willing to sell a MidiNES as well.  PM for offers.

This is amazing!  You're the only artist where I like every single song you do!

Are you wanting PIL shells or the kitsch shells?  I think I have a good condition green PIL shell that's been completely disassembled.  Was planning to run it through the dishwasher but keep forgetting.

oh, I wanted to note that "all" I want to do with this is play games/emu's: SNES, NES, Megadrive, GBA and arcade Mame ROM's etc...so I've got something to do on the train ride into work in the morning ;-)

If you just wanna play games then the Dingoo isn't the best.  It works but can be laggy sometimes. It's not bad.  I did get Oddworld working with a PSX emulator on it for shits and giggles but its slow and doesn't have enough buttons.

Replied.

As the title says, I need 5 d-pad and 5 a/b button silicone pads.  Anyone have any?

I just got 5 as-is DMGs for $20 that all powered up with no dead lines but the buttons didn't work.  Seller said he didn't know more than that.  I got them 'cause $20 for 5 working LCDs still seemed like a good deal.  But it turns out the DMGs simply need the silicone button pads.

I'm curious as to what you thought the purpose of lsdsng files was if not to be used in sav files...

Me too.  What were you planning on doing with the song file other than inserting it into another sav?

I'm going to assume they thought they could select a .lsdsng and it would automatically create a new .sav file.  They probably didn't realize you have to open an already existent .sav file (empty or not).
