Topic: Étretat - ambient lsdj with logic pro (1 replies, posted in Constructive Criticism)

Me and my friend jammed together this little ambient track using lsdj and logic pro.
Problem is, we feel like something is missing. Not too sure whether it's in the song structure or instrumentation. What do you guys think?
If you have any feedback to give I would most pleased : D

Would this be the appropriate thread to see if anyone is based in Paris?
I know there's a small chiptune community back where I used to live. In fact PixelH8 and Henryhomesweet are from there I believe... But I never really went to any shows or anything.

Topic: Culture E.P (trying to start and finish within 72 hours) (1 replies, posted in Constructive Criticism)

Hey, so I'm aiming to put together an E.P (minimum 4 tracks) within 72 hours. I decided to do this seeing as I somehow managed to piece together 2 tracks within 24 hours that I am fairly satisfied with.
What I would like is criticism on my percussion and arrangements. Interpret that how you will.
I would really like to be able to get these tracks nice and clean for the final thing.

I have 1 of the 2 tracks uploaded here called "Saturn Devours His Son" and a slightly extended version of the same track uploaded to soundcloud.
