FANS.

Can't have a scene that's not entirely about mutual cocksucking without them.

If anything, those votes should count more.

Montreal and Boston have good turnouts. How's the West Coast?

You can be involved in the scene without making music, you know.

Are geeks nerds and dorks really discussing popularity contests?

Okay, I have a very dry sense of humor, that's a given.
But it's just that: jokes.
I thought it'd be funny to post about Eurovision in the middle of the Blip thread, partly because Jellica, 4mat and myself were watching it while you guys were at Blip.
Some agreed, else I would've been posting on my own.
I made a joke just replacing "Eurovision" with "Blip" from your post Peter, and for some reason that made you jump at my throat.
Yes, something happened at Blip09, but I brought it up myself only once and it seems like it stuck. A lot. Believe me, I'm not happy about it myself.
Now, I'd like people, especially you Peter, to understand that I'm not "anti-Blip" or something, quite the contrary as I've helped with a few things in the past.
I JUST HAVE A VERY DRY (OFTEN TASTELESS) BRASH SENSE OF HUMOR.

No one has told me why Blip is a big deal. Don't make me read some wiki bullshit.

It's a very gay thing.
It's the most (non-sport related) watched TV program in the world (mostly by gay people).
It started the international careers of Abba, Celine Dion and Riverdance, among others.
But mostly it's over-the-top, ridiculous and lots of fun to watch with friends, especially if you've had a few drinks and/or drugs.

Uh oh this thread is broke.
I know exactly how to fix it.
