oh. thats cool paint.
s.p.r.y. showed me his at BRK that he'd painted with that reflective paint used on road cones and things. safety strips on concrete too probably. no idea what the paint is called though.
yeah, double pots would work. if you use switches, you'd just need to double the poles on the switch you would use with just a single board. if the original kit (one pcb) needs DPST, then use 4PST switches instead... that sort of thing.
justin, your pics went away
you'll need independent clocks for each unit, sharing a single clock source split between two units will cause you issues.
you could alternatively just put two clock sources in your box. you may be able to control them from the same pot or something, that i don't know. don't see why not.
SITE UPDATE: I've updated the features of the DISQUS service we use for comments on the site (for individual products, and general feedback).
you can now drag/drop media into your comment/feedback. it should work this way at least.
i expect to see more pics of mods you've done and the like! let me know if bugs show up...
I'm spray painting the inside of my case neon pink. Should look interesting through the frosted plastic...
awesome! please send pics, i'm going to try to set up a flickr group for KB modded stuff and whatnot...
if your paint is UV reactive, try to find a blacklight that'd be sick...
the ROM should maybe be put into the GBDEV file hub, its a more centralized location for similarly lost ROMs...
shoot it over to nitro2k01, he runs this repository of knowledge.
or i can do it later if need be, i've got that copy you sent earlier... (not on that computer)
yes, its that one
yeah, dead link. the buyer had a copy of the ROM, and the wayback machine shows its licensed in a way I could flash it...
basically, you start the ROM, you meditate on the question you wish to ask, press a button, it gives you a hexagram and you meditate on this.
very simple. its sort of cool though i guess
That's how he does special orders for people.
in this case its two copies, no sockets, one with i-ching the other with nanovoice
limited but only for the moment. so not really.
there are some colors i'd like to keep in rotation. black, white, and clear.
i've decided against doing the light grey as a standard color, it was nice to do this the first run in homage i suppose, but its not my favorite.
outside those three colors, the rest will be one-off runs i'm thinking.
no they aren't
i'll take a pic and send out the newsletter on these tomorrow, i wanted to give you guys a jump on them...
the clear cases are in the shop!
http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/custom-dmg-case
as are clear buttons (again)
http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/custom-buttons
and added some more prom cart titles!
http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/ga -cartridge
that is all.
printable doesn't mean silkscreen (in this case). it means in your home printer. its a bit different (a new kit)
i literally finalized the order for the clear screens just a moment ago, they should arrive within two weeks (i think, need to check on this tbh)...
i'm posting clear cases as soon as i'm caught up on orders. since getting back from BRK thats all i've done, i don't want them in the shop and have that rush of orders until i get done with the ones people have already placed, only seems fair...
