I'm trading one original DMG tomorrow for 3 broken NDS consoles (2 original, 1 lite). What should I do with them? The only problem is a broken hinge on each of them so it should be an easy fix. I wanna do something interesting with them! Any ideas?

Mate... You did not just say that!

Anyone that has a Snow v4 Envy backlight - i need to know what Ohmage resistor it uses (the one they ship it out with).
I lost mine before installing it and have no idea what ohmage it was. Any help is extremely appreciated!

Sorry guys, not a cartridge problem! The games all work in other gameboys. I've tried a total of 5 different pokemon carts. I'll swap the gameboy batteries for new ones but i'm not sure what else to do.

Could it be a resistance issue with the screen? I know the backlight (Snow v4 Envy) came with a resistor but i lost it and couldn't find out what ohmage it was so i just ignored it.. Haha!

I just installed my v4 Envy and now the DMG won't play pokemon games. It plays other games (Super Mario Land, LSDJ, Dr. Mario, Game Gallery) but none of the pokemon games.

Any idea?

What is different about the pokemon games in the first place that could cause an issue?

Valid points gents! I'm gonna have to mess around a bit I think smile

That's what I thought although there's no "Nintendo Gameboy" text on there which would usually show up if that was the case

I found this on instagram and the post-er didnt reply to my questions. Any udea where this is from? Its not a kitsch housing and I haven't seen one of these before!

How much are you looking at spending? I have a stack of original DMGs.

What colour is the inside of the housing? Could easily just be a paint/dye job.

Edit: Just noticed there's no embossed information like on normal DMGs... It's a mystery!

I bought a V2 variable clock chip from ThursdayCustoms and installed it as shown. There's an on-board 10K SMD resistor on the high-limiter but when pushed too high my DMG still powers off... Any suggestions?
The DMG is also sporting a v3 backlight, if that makes any difference.

Cheers,
Jack.
