Last night my housemate brought over her model friends (not kidding!) and they saw me with my gameboys at which point my housemate had to try and explain the concept to them (not saying models are dense i swear) and she basically said i play a game and the noises go into the speakers. hmm. I tried to explain, but i always get scared trying to do so because every word i use i'm sure has been snubbed and discredited at some point! Chiptune? Videogame music? low-fi Electro? 4-bit? !!! i like chiptune best but do you guys know what the current correct word is?
And yes, this is what was going through my head while very attractive ladies were in my house drinking vodka. OOPS

It seems as though all the links to d/l the old gameboy transferer (parallel port) software are dead. Since I've lost the floppy it came with I'd really REALLY appreciate it if someone could show me a live link or failing that, upload it to mediafire or something?
people still use the old system right?
