Mm, Homemade Lemonade.

So I heard this guys one song a while back and loved it, but shortly after he unlisted it and just kind of never became active again. Nothing came up for that alias in a google search, so I was just wondering if any of you had seen him resurface anywhere, or might be able to recognize his style under another alias.

Here is the one song; I managed to re-find it via google.

Yeah, we just started communicating via mass e-mail so as to not clog up 'recent posts' with the post any longer than it already had, because some people were getting a little frustrated.

It is, uh, still happening guys.

The deadline was set far in advance due to everyone involved having to take varying amounts of time; some a LOT longer than others. So yeah, we are still working on it.

The release date is planned for February 27th; the release of the first Poke'mon Game. So we still have a little longer.

By no means am I saying that y'alls collab doesn't sounds awesome though, I would be sad if it didn't come to fruition. Just wanted to clarify that our project is still alive and well.

Dude, nice. It never even occurred to me to look this up! Love this song.

This really isn't chip, like at all, but I just wanted to get some CC on the melodies themselves. The whole track is composed of 6 different Piano's.
Just wondering what you guys think of the quality of the melodies, and song structure.
Depending on if these melodies are quality I might change the instruments and everything to make it an actual song.

This also.

either way, before all that happens i start by imagining the emotional effect i want to achieve, and then just sit there for a couple of minutes and imagine ways to make it happen.  if i'm lucky, my mind can formulate the various elements to achieve the desired effect - not entire melodies mind you, but pieces of hooks and chunks of rhythmic features.  the harder part is to string it all together into something more cohesive.

I personally make the chord progression first if I don't already have an idea when I sit down to make the music. It allows me to know what 'boundaries' I have to fit within as far as what notes my melody should hit.

It's like a really lazy way of deciding my scale on the fly.

haha yeah I actually took ages finding the "reply to all" button, so I know exactly where you're coming from. First time I've ever group emailed.

I didn't even see that there XD I had just been copying and pasting all of the e-mail addresses from the original message.

You guys remind me of my grandparents trying to use the internet.

XD I just typically don't e-mail large groups of people whenever I do e-mail.

yeah, I emailed the whole group, there should be one reply from James Xander (me) where I try and outline stuff.

I also may have kinda only sent it to Ethen, rather than the entire group.

shit

Sent it to everyone now.

Exactly what happened to me. I have replied to everyone now.

Sorry everyone, I was trying to get everyone in one place by sending out a group e-mail, which you can't do with PMs as far as I know, so details could be discussed. Like who'd host the release, hen the songs need to be finished, etc. Sending the e-mail now. If you gave me your e-mail you will receive it.

Edit: And I have never organized a collaboration if that was blindingly obvious XD. I apologize if this is strange; I'm simply attempting to directly contact all the participating artists without bumping a post onto the front page when in reality it has become exclusive to a group of people participating in it.

So, sorry for the confusion.

This is THE last day to send a confirmation message with your e-mail to me. I still need 10 artist's e-mails.
You can see who you are on the first page.

We have 32 artists participating and 22 e-mails( Including me). If you fail to send me a PM with your e-mail by the 31th, then I will be forced to omit you from the final release as a fore mentioned. So shoot me a PM fast!

Can I grab Santa Claus is Coming to Town?
If someone else wants it though, by all means take it.

Edit: Strike that I won't be able to deliver.

Hah, my music is terrible for audio surf.
It would go from green to red blocks so fast.

I have a song that is pretty much red the entire time; save the slow bridge.
