coolness factor is probably higher with a complete power glove than with some buttons in a game boy.  I may be wrong, but the buttons don't really stand out as being such a distinctive feature that people could instantly identify them when seen in a DMG.

If you have a power glove i will trade you 2 sets of grey buttons for double the coolness.  I can even include a matching power switch and link port cover.

edit:  please don't kill a power glove for the buttons.

rygD I don't own a power glove that was just one of my mind trips thank you for the offer thou, did you ever find the case?

I don't think I have seen that model case before.  Looks cushiony.  I like it.

It is but it has one drawback you have to flip the Gameboy screen down otherwise the carts will scratch the screen (I think) when the door is closed

Thank You Kitsch as I assume the parts where from you for this build very quality stuff.

As for the screen I spent three hours straight plaing and I felt great, would have loved for this to bee like this straight out of the box in 1990 when I got the Original

Another great example of the maize mods quality builds.

Nicely done backlight in white with the bivert chip stress free mounting as the LCD frame was deleted.

Blue power LED to match bivert along with my choice of original DMG screen protector, original GB start and select, NES A and B buttons and Neon pink NES DPad and power switch.

Maize is very honest and helpful and will build you the DMG you always wanted.

No job is too small or too large, I am very happy to have chosen Maize Mods for my DMG modding needs

Clean Bivert

You do have a valid point everybody and their mom know about the grey GB but its less common to see the Clear GB, I owned a grey GB since day 1 in 1989 and I remember in middle school there was a kid with a Clear DMG and eventhou it was the same thing I was GREEN with envy... get it green? jajajaja
