I've tried a game and nothing happens, there is a very quiet hum from the speaker but no 'plink'

The LED is lit and stays lit without flickering and the contacts are completely clean in the case.

Screen doesn't do anything, contrast wheel doesn't change that either.

Thanks Kitsch for the quick reply!

Received a broken DMG in the hopes to get it back to life; with batteries inside it powers on and the LED is lit, however nothing else happens, I can't see any obvious damage or faults so I was wondering if someone could look at the photos and lead me in the right direction?

Thanks smile

Hi there,

Joined the forum as this seems to be one of the more active GB mod communities around so who better to come to with questions? Sorry If i'm oblivious to probably easy answers, I've just started to refurbish some old DMG's, I was wondering if it's possible to buy replacement screens? I'm forever seeing screen protectors/lenses however you call them but the actual Dot matrix screens are seemingly non existent unless you buy a working GB.

I've also got a GBP which might be mine to repair and that too needs a screen, any help or guidance as to where I can pick some up would be great!

Thanks big_smile

P.S. I did also come for the chiptune I promise!
