Happens to me all the time on both of my DMGs. I'm fairly sure it's just a battery life issue. But then again, DMG =/= GBP

same. i e-mailed him and he responded that it was going to be sent (after I followed up a bit, though) but i didn't get a confirmation number either
I ordered another two cart because I saw the website said In Stock but that was just before he posted about it, so I'd be lying to myself if I wasn't a little worried
He usually takes a while to respond It took him a week to get back to me.

This is a necessity on forum websites. That's the one reason why I only use PMs here if I can't find the person on facebook. I get no notification of anything and it makes it really frustrating when I miss an update on someone's remix or info on a collab.

Re: Semi-Survey: Netlabels (23 replies, posted in General Discussion)
As an artist:
1) Do you see any inherent worth to releasing your music through a netlabel?
HELL FUCKING YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!
2) What are the three most important things you look for in a label?
- Collab opportunities with established people
- More exposure
- Compos!!!!
3) What are the top three labels on which you'd like to have your music and why?
- Kawaii 8 Bit because they have so many good people on board, they have lots of live shows, and they just plain ROCK!! They check all the boxes on my list.
- CheapBeats Very well known (as far as I've seen) and they have plenty of awesome people on board!
- Basebit. 'Nuff said.
4) What is the percentage of the money you think should go to the label?
It depends on the service they offer as a whole that would help better the quality of my releases. Otherwise, as long as it's not like a 40ish-50%+ take on their end then I'm ok with it.
5) What services should the label offer? (art, mastering, physical CDs etc etc)
CDs for sure, mastering is definitely a plus although I can live with doing it myself. If they gave me a budget for artwork that would be a major plus, as I have sort of an "official artwork person" who does a lot of my *recent* stuff.
6) Your feelings on exclusivity and copyrights?
- They're mine. I would like to be able to hold the rights to my music indefinitely.
As a customer
1) What, if any, influence does a label has on your purchasing habits?
If the label is well known and has a good reputation I will gladly buy the album (like Hyperwave and Basebit). Otherwise, I will be a bit more reluctant.
2) Do you prefer to buy directly from an artist, or through a label?
Artist for sure.
3) What are you top three favorite labels and why?
*same as artist thingy *
4) What would you consider an appropriate price range for chiptune albums?
Pay what you want - $8
5) Does the storefront (bandcamp, custom website, etc) influence your purchases?
I only buy through bandcamp. Anything else is a deal-breaker for me.
6) Your opinion on physical copies? (cd, tape, vinyl, etc)
Eh.
7) Your opinion on merch? (tshirts, stickers, garter belts, etc)
Eh.

Re: Is my EMS cart dying? (9 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
try it in a different Gameboy man, some might have issues with the cartridge reader causing it to crash?
maybe?
I was thinking about trying that. I'll report back if there's any other errors.

Did you format and reflash your cartridges? That got a lot of extra use out of mine when it was on the way out.
I did that just yesterday. I'll reflash the rom again to see if that helps.

Also, there is a slight (yet noticeable) delay in slave mode.

UPDATE: My cart is giving more signs of dying. Random crashes followed by the "Don't Panic" screen. The screen only has 00's though

How are the batteries in your GB? This has happened to me when the batteries get really low, the red LED is bright, then it just turns off.
I just recently (like 2 days ago) replaced the batteries and I haven't used this GB too much other than recording.
Back up your .sav and maybe try re-formatting. Did the dreaded "Don't Panic!! Send this info to (yadda yadda etc)" pop up as well?
Nothing like that. I just recently backed everything up so that should be good.

Hello!
I was just working on a remix for a friend when suddenly my GB just stopped working for a second. I rebooted, and everything was running fine except for all the phrases, on line 3 there was a copy of phrase 03 transposed at 03. I didn't add this at all.
Should I be worried that my cart is dying? Or was it just a rare glitch?
Thanks!
-Sam
PS: If it is dying, is there a guide somewhere on how to replace the battery in the cart?
