fwiw klystrack 1.6.0-1 stutters badly in debian no matter what buffer settings are used with an atom n270 netbook. runs fine on an athlon x2 2.2ghz, but at about 60-70% cpu usage.
this prod, lower cpu requirements would be awesome.

i have made music with a thin client, specifically an hp t5720 that still runs antix 13. sunvox runs with acceptable latency on a 1ghz geode processor.
anyway, here's a link to the specs for a wyse x150se wt3150se, which is op's thin client in question:

milkytracker or sunvox could be alright on a 3150se if a tiny debian distro is up and running.
