Topic: How to write chiptune for GB DMG in-game play with Z80? (3 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
Anyone have any experience with playing back music within an actual GB game? After a little research GB games appear to be written in Z80. It seems the music is just a sequence of coded commands... Is there an easier way of of creating these coded commands or a file type you can use? Can LSDJ export to this file type?
Thanks

Hi all!
My name is Christopher. I write music for poker machines as a full time job (yes that's a real job ><). I have written chip music before using plugins but just ordered myself a Game Boy and LSDJ to get into the more old school approach. I own a keytar (Sh101) and have a friend who drums so expect some epic chiptune journey's soon enough
