I would love a tutorial/BOM/instructable, etc. on how to create one of these.

I didn't realize at first, but Linus Akesson helped design/program these new PO's! He's the guy behind the Chipophone, amongst many other things.

Check out his website here:

I think Linus is the man.

Hey guys, I stumbled upon this on Kickstarter and thought it may be of some interest to people in this group:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/84 er-tracker
Edit: I can't figure out why the link won't work, but you can find it by going to the kickstarter website and searching for "tracker"... or just Google "ST4 hybrid synthesizer tracker" or something similar. Made by Tasty Chips.

I like it, I think it would be even better with some noise channel "crackling" sounds!

Topic: Lil Bub album (1 replies, posted in General Discussion)
Has anyone here ever heard of Lil Bub? Lil Bub is an awesome cat who just put out an album called "Science and Magic" which includes some chiptune!
Here is a link to the music video for the song called "New Gravity" which includes 8 bit style graphics. I just wanted to share because I just think Bub is super awesome and the album is pretty good!
Ps, the music was made by a guy named Matt Tobey, I believe.
If you are interested in buying the album, google: "Lil Bub Science and Magic" and order it from the official Lil Bub Store because a portion of the proceeds go to charity! I am in no way affiliated, just a big fan! I hope you guys enjoy it too!

Re: Circuit Bent NES Zapper (5 replies, posted in Nintendo Consoles)
Yeah, this is really awesome ! I happened to also see this on reddit, where the artist offered this explanation:
"The circuits I added generate sound and visuals. The monitor's VGA cable connects right to the bottom of the zapper. Hsync and Vsync pulses are generated with an schmitt inverter oscillator and binary counter. Colors are generated with a three stage phase shift oscillator that has sound injected into it."
I would love to learn more or even see some sort of "instructable" on how to make this!

Re: How do I connect a MIDI keyboard to my laptop/Famitracker? (11 replies, posted in Software & Plug-ins)
So I bought a usb MIDI cable. Per the instructions that came with it, I plugged the in to the out and the out to the in ( of my Septavox) . I plugged the usb end to my laptop.
In Famitracker I go to File, Configuration, MIDI tab, i set the input to USB 2 and the output to none and then I click apply and OK.
I set up an instrument, press Rec, but no matter what I do I can't get the external keyboard to input notes... It does nothing.
any ideas?

I googled this and could not find a good answer.
I am totally new to Famitracker and I want to use my Septavox synthesizer, which has MIDI in & out jacks, to input notes in the program. I am actually new to using MIDI as well, believe it or not...
My laptop has 2 USB ports, do I just need a cable that goes from a male MIDI jack to male USB?
Thanks for the help.
