Hi everybody;

I found a fat low bass sound in this track at 1:09:

https://brickbrker.bandcamp.com/track/open-world-2

Can somebody help me to reproduce it in LSDJ? Is it possible to do this in the pulse-channel or is it more a wave-instrument?

The goal of this is (try) to make a low volume + pitch bass which is come to some reggae dub tracks like Kanka's:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5gFZUowwLk

Of course there is the limitation of the hardware which I don't mind, but is it possible to make the feeling of a C2-note lower for the listener?

Thanks in advance!

Where can I buy cheap DMG shell's? I like the colorfull shell's of ASM Retro but it has a additional $11,5 shipping cost for Belgium sad. I found these with no shipping costs, should I give it a try?

What type of wire is easiest in use/ does most people use for modding DMGs? I want to do prosound, bivertion and pitchmod and afterwards be able to properly close my DMG smile.

Thank you

The resistor in my paint-image is a potentiometer.

I got myself some LTC 1799 DIP 6 adapters (http://www.circuitbenders.co.uk/forsale/LTC/LTCDIP.html) to mod some DMG's.

This adapter is slightly different than the LTC 1799 from Getlofi (http://getlofi.com/gameboy-dmg-01-pitch-modification/)

How do I connect this thing? Do I really need a 0,1uF capacitor?

Thankyou

I also want to add a switch to my CGB. Some information would be very helpfull.

I'm modding a keyboard to use with LSDJ, still with no success :(.I tried these connections (see bottom).

Who can tell me what's wrong? Thanks!

- keyboard (4 wires): G (=GND) - GRAY
              V (=VCC) - BROWN
              D (=DATA) - RED
              C (CLK) - YELLOW

- 2-player link cable -> so not powered (right?)
        THEREFORE
- USB-cable (5V, 500mA) for power-supply keyboard
        OR
- power-supply adapter (5V, 1A)

Out of curiosity, what all are you trying to fit into the case, and why did you opt to stick the jack in the top of the case rather than in the corner you put your switch? Looks interesting...

I want to know how much room I could possibly make smile. I'm making room for 1 extra switch (same type as in image) and place for a half-speed oscillator that can be switched on by that switch.

To answer your 2nd question: I have already modded a gameboy with the pro-sound connector in the lower corner and wanted to do something different than last time smile. Maybe there are some difficulties that I'm not aware of...

Hello, I'm making some room in my DMG case (see image below), want to keep speaker and original headphone connector.  I got a few questions smile :

a) Is there room in the case to add another switch (same type as in image)

b) Are there other places on the circuit board that I can cut off (did some underneath the upper headphone connector)

c) Is it a good idea that I added a headphone connector in the upper left side of the case? I didn't see it very often, maybe problem to wire, sound, space ...

Thank you smile smile

You've got a 5 pins headphone connector? how does that work?

anyway, to install a switch, you'll have to cut some wiring. basically, you'll cut the L en R headphone wires, and install a stereo switch that switches the L en R wires between headphone and prosound connection.

I meant the "switch" wich mute the speaker when you insert a heaphone in the original socket. I only know that the white wire controls this, but how do I wire this to my pro sound socket without cutting? Thank you anyway smile

This is my connector:

Hello, I want to connect the build-in headphone switch to my pro sound (5-pins) headphone connector without cutting the original headphone wiring. Does anybody know how i have to connect this? Thanks!
