hiding under your bed

Hey, dumb/simple question, but what do people use when doing things like the kawaii-boy? I know other people have stuck things onto their DMGs and whatnot like this, but that's the only example I can find at the moment. You get what I mean, though. Do you use super glue, a hot glue gun, something else?
And how long would one be able to expect something like that to last?

Kawaii-Boy?! Really? Thats what it's called?
Looks damm ugly to me.

But why not ask the guy who did the FeltBoys @ kitsch? (Sorry forgot your name, buddy. I guess it was Vex? I dunno.)

we used caulk mixed with pink acrylic paint to give a frosting look and just stuck as much cute shit as I could find into it + hot glue gun for the smaller gems

I'd use hobby epoxy. Much stronger than hot glue/super glue.
