The opening sounded like Gerudo Valley, I dig it.

Great man. PS how many young money/jay z/thuglyfe/nwa tags are on this? The related videos are insane.

hahah yeah I know... wtf is up with that? I must admit I have no idea what I'm doing with Youtube so maybe I checked the "Wigger" box somewhere? The tags I put are all chiptune related neutral

I have listened to this all the way through about 3 times now. I think I might have this years favorite able. Artwork by Illke btw!

Sounds great and that artwork is top-notch cool!

Is this another klystrack release?

100% Klystrack, and no samples used. Well.. I use single cycle samples a lot but that's not really using samples. Although.. the last track does have a vocal sample. So I guess 1 sample used smile

This is exactly how I want chip music to sound. Serious.

very cool klystrack showcase!  nice variety of different oldschool doskpop styles too.  looking forward to the new album.

Aye, there's definitely a 90s demoscene influence on many of my tracks. That's where I learned to track smile But I did try to go a bit beyond the demoscene sound on a few tracks, try something more modern. Not *too much* though, when I stray too far from it, I tend to think it doesn't sound chiptuney enough and at that point I'm just making.. yknow.. "electronic music" so I might as well drop klystrack and just use Cubase and all sorts of gloriously over produced VSTs.

Any plans for a vinyl release? I'd hang that thing on my wall.

Not at this particular moment no, and while vinyl is making a comeback these days I don't think many people in the chip scene even have access to a decent turntable. But damn wouldn't it be nice? A big fat 33rpm with my name on it.

Can't access the video at this time, but judging by the commenting this looks like it'll be right up my alley. I'm so excited for this to release big_smile
