"I had literally just thought about asking people if they ever share .sav files.  I recently got a cart from Katsumbhong and it had a full song already on it and I've found it to be a wonderful learning tool for LSDJ.  It's cool to go into each section of someone else's songs and see how they were constructed and listen to them at the same time.  Will be buying this for sure!"

I posted this in saskrotch's release thread and was curious if anyone shares their LSDJ .sav files?  Like I said I found looking through the song Katsumbhong left on the cart he sent me to really help me learn how LSDJ works more so than tutorial videos etc.

I try to always include source files if possible. This one is probably the most interesting sav, also a tutorial document in there: http://datathrash.bandcamp.com/album/hymnal

Roboctopus also share a LOT of his .savs too.  Those are invaluable.

I noticed you have to contribute to download.  Is it okay if my songs are not all that great?  Just asking so I know what's proper and okay with everyone involved.  I'm super stoked to dig through people's work because with my ADD issues I learn by doing much easier than by watching people on tutorial videos or reading tutorials.  When I was last in the scene attempting to learn and understand the hexadecimal system used in trackers slowed my learning to a halt because I have a lot of issues with numbers.  I still don't understand it completely but being able to see how everyone's work is laid out has been helping me a lot.

I'm 31 and actually did not graduate high school due to not being able to pass algebra 1.  I went all 4 years through high school and even finished my senior year even though I knew half way through the year that I would not graduate due to being 1 point away from a passing grade in algebra 1.  I immediately obtained my GED and scored so high that they wanted me to go to college immediately but I had had quite enough of school at that point.  I still went to college for art later in my life and while I didn't get a degree I'm still glad I went.  Sorry if everything is all TMI I'm just at a good point in my life where I'm happy with myself just the way I am and feel comfortable knowing that I won't be struggling through life due to my mental health issues anymore since I finally received a fully favorable decision on my disability case after 10 years of trying.  I hope that my story helps inspire others who struggle with some of the same issues I have and gives them maybe even a sliver of hope that things can work out.  This community and 8bc before it have been hugely responsible for keeping me not only entertained but focused on a great hobby and an awesome group of people willing to help others learn and grow with them.

heart you all

Sharing .LSDSNG files is better imo, only one song and you can put it where you want in your sav ! wink
Posted 2-3 old songs on this website !
