I just found this sonic state review funny look at the early days of Nanoloop. The author is Mark Tinley who for many was the synth sound guy for Duran Druan. Further more he also was an acid house head and played on a Peel session. He still does some podcast for sonic state and is an interesting guy along with the rest of the lot that surrounds that site. it is an funny read for the old boys if you havent seen it already. enjoy!

i remember when i was a kid (around the millenium) i was watching muchmusic, a music channel based out of toronto and i saw what appeared to be mike myers playing techno music on a gameboy. in retrospect i think it might have been alec empire or something, but that kinda tripped me out  for a while
