I have never used midi to send notes to mgb before. I am trying it out and finally figured out how to get notes played but now I am interested in things like pitch bend or panning. How can I automate this in ableton? Is there a way to create a sort of thing that is similar to a table in LSDJ in ableton? so that when I press a key it for instance pans left and right quickly?

You will have to program each envelope individually, or you can route midi data from an external plugin that can map midi cc to a controller, and record it in live.

thanks for the article emar! hate how it ends. I would really like to have for instance a knob control the midi CC as well. he says that you can but in a later article however I do not think there is another with more info.

Hi everybody

I would like as well to be able to map knobs inside Ableton to CC's, so that I can control MSSIAH and other stuff, but as far as I understand - I can only do this with clip envelopes?

I saw this thread (http://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/1108/ … eton-live/) and it looked like it was a solution, but when I look into the .als it just seems like the macro knobs are mapped to a controller, and nothing is outputting anything. But as other people have it working it can't be that bad?
