So I was given an Samsung 2 XE303C12-A01US Chromebook. Does anyone know any software that would let me be able to incorporate it into the rest of my gear setup or even make it a stand alone to play along side the rest of my equipment ?

Well there's a way to put chromebooks into dev mode and install linux on it http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv7 … hromebook. Chrome has a plugin where you can use android apps in the browser so if your chromebook is touchscreen you can buy sunvox and use it on chrome http://www.omgchrome.com/chrome-apk-pac … droid-app/ . I wouldn't recommend using sunvox android app on a chromebook without a touchscreen though because the apps you can use on chrome only have mouse or touch support as far as I know and that would suck to input all notes via mouse and not keyboard.

You're welcome smile I think I read somewhere that you can actually install completely over chromeOS but I don't know if you want to do that.

I've had fun playing with Milky Tracker via Crouton. It runs nicely on the older samsung chromebooks. You can easily switch between ChromeOS and Ubuntu, which is very convenient.

You can install mini vmac based on the fact that there's an android app but getting it to work might be tricky
