I just noticed this on myspace (hey, remember that!) via 8bc about 8bc:

Erm, correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't micromusic.net the first chiptune-related media repository and filesharing community?

"open" is the key word. on micromusic, uploaded tracks have to be approved by the QFS first.
i think the completely open part was the key to that statement...also the video part is way outdated, video upload was disabled way the fuck back in 2007, i think
