Here is the debut album from the french 8-bit-electro-rock band Shok Doktrine.
The album called 'Sixteen Bits And A Brain' features 14 tracks and is available as digital album or compact disc edition.
The Shok Doktrine musicians are working with a lot of retro-game sounds, some of them generated by hardware synths, as well as an eurorack modular, and some old-chips emulation plugins here and there.
This release is maybe not the "typical" chiptune style, but is deeply influenced by retro games, along with vintage synths, rock guitars and voice.
