Hey all,

Just got LSDJ about a week ago, so very new at this, but I'm wondering how I get more than two melodic lines in a song. From what I've heard in other people's work it's definitely possible, but from what I understand (which is again, not a lot) I get melody/bass/any music in PU1 & PU2, drums via the kit in WAV, and sound effects in NOI. So, for example, if I want a song with drums, a channel representing guitar, a channel representing bass, and another channel representing a vocal melody: is this possible? Or is there a way to fake it?

You can use two pulse channels and also wave channel for third melody, and you can use arpeggios for major, minor, octave, 4th, 7th etc. chords. If you want also use drums, you can probably design drum with quick following bass or lead (i do this often on C64), combining with noise channel you can simulate hihats or snare. After all those years i used sampled drumkit on wave channel probably once, so i more like synthetic smile
