So, I just hacked a Tetris ROM to invert its color palette.

My inspiration came directly from nitro2k01's How to patch LSDj to use an inverted palette tutorial - http://blog.gg8.se/wordpress/2009/09/19 … d-palette/

I just followed the tutorial and used a copy of Tetris instead of LSDJ.

Please search for  "Tetris rom for Gameboy" to find the rom  file.

Depends on the game. In principle yes, but if a game does some funky video effects where the value is changed dynamically it's a little more complicated than just changing a value like that. It should be trivial for simple games like Tetris etc, however.

That in itself could achieve interesting results, 'cause it would glitch it out, n'est pas?  I want to try that...

Probably not "glitch out" in any meaningful way, more like the play field is inverted but sprites and score/lives area is not, or something like that. Or that the screen is supposed to flash but doesn't. (Think: Defeated boss and such.)

Yeah, i play inverted tetris on an inverted screen, coded in reverse while hanging upside down.
