Well when I went to get on 8bc.org it came up with a download box which says,

You have chosen to open

   which is a: application/x-httpd-php
   from: http://8bc.org

When you try to open the file it come's up with this

Windows can not open this file:

File:       Ra69EJ3+-1.part

I tried going to http://8bitcollective.com instead of 8bc.org the same the happened.

Every time I try to go on the website the file name changes to random text and then has the  " +-1.part "

Anyone knows that going on?

EDIT:Interesting side-note: http://8bitcollective.org links to http://trebledeathsystem.com now.

This isn't an 8bc status update board.

I know this will get locked as the last one did, but just a quick update before it does.

From Jose:

"
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

An automatic upgrade changed the configuration files of the server.

We will fix it promptly!
"

Hope that clears it up for you!

EDIT: It's back up for anyone who was wondering

Hey Edward, I'm just wondering. No need to start trouble. I like CM as much as 8BC hahah!

Why is it not allowed to talk about other forums at chipmusic.org?

No idea.   I think it's just anti-8bc sentiment rather than not being allowed to talk about other forums in general

What's wrong with 8bitcollective?

You start the list, and I'll take over when you get tired.

I'm perfectly okay with people talking about other forums here, but time and time again there have 8bc.org posts here asking for updates about 8bc.org.

It's like a free support team for 8bc.org. Let the good sites prosper.

8bc.org - "We don't need you! Go make your own site, our site is 20,000 strong. All done by meee."

Months later "...but can you help us out so our users know what's happening when it's down, the server is broke, the frontpage changes, our songs don't work or our domain name becomes available, thanks."

This is what I was expecting, haha. I leave for two years, come back and the place is a ghost town. All that's left are tons of "MY FIRST--" tracks and people asking what DMGs are.
