Ever hear of the bliptronic 5000? I've been playing with one of these things recently and was wondering if it's possible to put a midi port on one. I want to sync it to a drum machine. What does a device need to make it midi compliant?

I've seen some, but I've never actually played with any. Would you recommend it?

Those look awesome and I plan on getting one someday. But no, I haven't tried one yet either.

Yeah, for the the price it's pretty sweet. It's like a (very, very) dumbed down tenori-on but you'll get $50 dollars worth of use from it.

Check out bliptronome, http://www.straytechnologies.com/produc … iptronome/

it turns the bliptronic into a monome

bliptronic isn't that cool. its all presets from my understanding. limited and not too useful other then for playing for quick 5 or 10 minutes. bliptronome would be the only reason i would have this guy. tenori-on looks sweet because of the fact you can load your own sounds and can mess around with different modes. if it wasnt for the price i would be all over that.
