Hey Guys
just thought I would let you all know I am now writing a monthly post on Generation Bass, feel free to post suggestions or PM me some of your own stuff that you may want featured

my main idea for it is just exposing an open minded new audiences to the chip style and also just to support good artists... I think that Chip music can get a bit insular sometimes so I think it will be nice to have an outlet to promote chip outside of the regular internet circles...

anyway let me know what you think and enjoy!!!

Dot.AY, did you ever put your dissertation online? I remember reading a post from 2007 or 2008 on 8bc that you were writing it about elements of chipmusic.

lol @"forgot" I just didn't put them in this month as I had already finished the thing before 8BP released AMU and cow'p hasn't released anything in a while (unless I missed it) hence his omission...

same goes for Quarta330, big-chip and a bunch of others I think I will cover on months when there is less new stuff in a kind of "From the Archives" type section

EPROM is amazing but the likes of him and Doshy, Pixelord, Coco Bryce etc are all already fairly heavily covered on the Gen Bass blog so the idea is more straight chip stuff that they don't cover

uhhh... sure... I won't have a dedicated part of Gen Bass to link to but I think you can do a "Posts by this Author" type thing.. who knows?? WEB LOGS!!

Also I don't want this to stagnate into just all LSDJ wav wobbles or the like .... so some posts with RadioGraffiti style bass stuff and even some of Jellica's more wonky stuff could def be on the cards... Also I love Jellica and Cow'p's Chipbass mixes have been in my favourite mixtape playlist for a while... Keep the suggestions coming
