Im wanting to get something like a Roland sh-32 or mc-303. Should I pick one of those or go with something else? I'm trying to stay in my budget of 275$.

Ok before I order the sh-32,lemme make sure I have my facts straight. It has step sequencing, 808 and 909 drum samples, I could pretty much make an entire song off of it using drum samples constructing a pad and lead synth? I'm not sure but does it have midi support?

if in doubt, just look at which one has more buttons, switches, and knobs. That is all.

Is there anything like the sh32 but with a step sequencer?

For modern little synths, How about one of the electribes? You might get lucky with a used EMX1?
