What an amazing event this was! Thanks for everyone who came along and to those who helped take part making this possible.

Lo-bit Underground vol.2 took place from 8pm to 1am at the Star and Shadow's entirely volunteer-run venue in Newcastle with 5 high quality acts from local, national and global presences. The Tinfoil Hat Brigade, Comptroller, Cerebral Scars, BSK and Maru!

(Thanks to Euan Lynn for these photos!)

Wow, fast work! This is great.

Really fun night too, except maybe for the treacherous late night drive! We didn't get to bed till 7am, ridiculous.

I thought I had made the name up which it was meant to signify underground culture, I have never realised till now that the term lo-bit had a style in its following. I'm sorry if you feel this has caused any offence or misunderstanding.

EDIT: typo

@cs it's no big deal really wink i just wanted to point out that lo-bit is actually a different genre. unfortunately it's virtually unknown in the chipmusic scene, although there are quite a few "personal" overlaps wink
