Please, add older verion of Nanosynth here.
http://swiki.hfbk-hamburg.de/MusicTechnology/132
(with C source code)

The only difference against the other Nanosynth rom is, that when you hit Start, it doesn't switch between mono / stereo delay mod, but it switches between normal / sync mod

in Sync mod it waits for triggering:
I remember that connecting 2 of GB serial's pins triggers a note, disconnecting these pins triggers another note etc...
You can try it alone, or I can try it same as you from a scratch
There was (maybee!) some other thing to do, connect one of another pins to ground. I actually don't remember that. It's more than year I tried to work with this rom.

Matěji,
Don't you want to try to make some easy 4ppqn (CV gate clock / Volca series clock?) to this clock convertor?
I think it could be interesting to have this sync function working and jam with other gear in sync.

Díky (Thanks)

Great discussion! I'm trying them all out one by one, I didn't know there were so many Game Boy apps around. Thanks a lot for this!

Looks like Googledrive doesnt allow to download P5Tracker with Export... Can you be so kind and upload them to Dropbox or similar cloud as mirror?Or send me Win32 and Win64 versions via email?

I would probably have a different section than tracker/sequencer for MML.  Also, you have a crossplatform section with no mention of XPMCK.

Hey guys, randomly aquired a GBA flash cart... I had a version of M4G that I'd run in an emulator to check it out years ago, and that isn't really at a place where I'd want to use it. Are there any stable build trackers for GBA? Whatever happened to FAT? the link seems dead and I can only find v 0.74(?) for download - did anything else happen to it? What about Ditty? Has anyone used that to any effect?

All help greatly appreciated!

FAT seems to be dead and Spintronic seems to have left the scene.
FAT was open source, it could be great to find the sources and put them somewhere...

I though nordloef was involved in FAT in some capacity?

Anyway, it just seems a real shame that GBA flash carts are available and pretty cheap and yet nothing tracker-wise on that platform seems to have been developed fully. Obvs Nanoloop 2 does a great job covering a lot of bases but it looks like a few people have done the whole "lets do a next gen LSDJ" and not had the resources to complete these projects.

If I got time, I will post a song made with it here or on battle of the bits.

Bleep
Game Boy Dev Compo Version
(prerelease / alpha)
by Andrew G. Crowell

Bleep is a music creation program with piano roll interface.

It lets you jam out chip music really quickly, and it writes directly into save
memory, so your work is saved automatically. This is not the final version, but
I was reminded the Game Boy dev compo was going on, so I'd enter.

This is just a prerelease, the final will include source code, and add many
missing features to the editor.
