I've been working on an LSDJ cover of Ben Folds' "Zak and Sara" and thought it might be cool if a bunch of artists covered Ben Folds songs. Any interest/Ben Folds fans out there?

Tentatively, here is who has what:

Brick - Victory Road
Song for the Dumped - godinpants
Rockin' the Suburbs - mysterystain
Underground - roboctopus
Fired - HPizzle
Landed - DKSTR
Evaporated - Firebrand Boy

All styles are welcome. This is mainly for fun, so no harsh deadline. However, it would be nice if we could try and get it done before the end of August, just so it doesn't perpetually languish. Then we can see if someone wants to do cover art and try to get it hosted somewhere.

nah, but i might do a serious attempt at a cover of brick
treading carefully though cause i feel like the 8-bit sound could easily trivialize the subject matter of the lyrics if i'm not careful!

Sweet, all some of my favorites. (And I agree with you Victory Road, best to keep it classy with Brick). Just send them to me when you finish and when there are enough we can release a nice little package of Ben Folds deliciousness out into the internets.
