it's not as hard when everyone is going there mostly on their own means which is what happens with most chipmusic shows, not jst this one.
Cheaptoon artists are the best funding association ever ;P

As I said before, this is a serious attempt at making the scene expand so there are more fans, bigger turnouts, bigger venues, so we can afford to book even more internationals.
If NYC is struggling to get larger turn outs.. then the entire scene is going down real fast.
If you think 50-70 people turning out to a pulsewave (a monthly show) is bad. Try coming to any chip show in the midwest. 
NYC is like the only place in the country where you can put on a show and have a decent turnout without even trying.
Want more fans, bigger turnouts.. Get a chiptuner on MTV. lol And from what i've seen all that takes is money, not talent.
Or advertize for a show via large white poster boards in the background of TRL. hahaha
When this is all over, I will PERSONALLY make sure every single artist leaves happy and satisfied and also willing to come back for seconds.

Not to brag or anything, but we have been getting good turnouts in Mtl : we did about 80 for a show in the middle of February on a Thursday night and Toy Company usually brings anywhere from 200 to 300 people.

Is mtl part of the united states? If i remember correctly. isn't MTL like the closest thing to being in Europe w/o actually being in Europe?
