That wonderswan demo is fantastic! I'd love to hear a little bit about how they did the music. To my knowledge MML is the only way, unless they devised something new.
Theta_Frost, I'd bet it's either streamed audio, or an XM replayer they've written. Strobe wouldn't touch MML with a barge pole I think

Fair enough, I've had enough trouble with it as well!
probably XM rather than audio, listening to it again.. strobe's FL music doesn't sound that much like this, this is arpy and chippy like his XMs
but then those vocals don't sound like XM ??

And yes it is converted to an own written format for the wonderswan, WSM.
