after farewell static, my new ep is decidingly not very 8 bit. It's got its sparing bleepy moments though of course......all them shitty casio's, a roland jv1080 and mgb recorded through tapes and back into computer and with some raps and 808's. yes its hipster musics i guess.
anyway a preview is here if you want to listen.thanks

I just finished recording 7 new songs, doing the mix right now, having those properly mastered after that and finally sending them to the pressing plant, having the music transfered on a nice 10" vinyl - release planned in february, yahoo !

Here's an album sampler with around 20 seconds of every song from my second album "Ever Ever". I put it together just in case the world ends in 3 days so I don't entirely feel like I just wasted the past 5 months. It's chill/sad glitchy stuff. I used plogue chipsounds for like 85% of it. https://soundcloud.com/mylifeispixels/e … um-sampler

Stuff coming on Friday. For kicks. It'll be pure chip but I uploaded a bonus version of one song with guitar to soundcloud, if you want a preview.

This Friday, I will be releasing GEO, a concept work of mine in standalone 2A03. It's a concept album about the end of the world, only fitting that I release it on the end of the world, no?

I will be selling it at a $4 name-your-price minimum. Before it is available for download, you may preview the entire album:

"BLUESHIFT" is the last part of BLUE trilogy (featuring previously released "BLUENOISE" and "BLUESCREEN" accordingly). The album consists of 13 tracks, written, performed and produced by PROTODOME, includes a special bonus song and features guest vocal performances by Alissa and Marianne Thompsons. The artwork illustration is drawn by Marianne "Mayan" Thompson, and PROTODOME, handling artwork format and design.

"BLUESHIFT" will be available as a digital download for £1 (or more) on December 25, exactly a year after "BLUESCREEN" was out.

Hope you're all having a great holiday! It's been a year since my album "Preschtale" was released, and today I'm really excited to announce that Ubiktune's newest compilation "Preschtale Variations" will be released on January 1st.

The album consists of 16 songs and features performances and covers based on original material. The artists include Jay Tholen, Zackery Wilson, coda, Stemage, Pongball, Fearofdark, subPixel, PROTODOME, Monomer, surasshu, Aivi Tran, El Mobo, Yoann Turpin, Maxo, Shnabubula, Gabe Terracciano Music, and me. Over one hour in length, "Variations" covers a long list of genres and sounds, from chiptune and electronic renditions to metal and acoustic performances.

The album artwork (inspired by the original one by Junkboy), design, and video teaser were created by the amazing Rufus Blacklock of Karrot Animation. Final mastering and additional support by Megus.

"Preschtale Variations" will be presented exclusively during a special episode of Noise Channel, which will take place right on January 1 at 8:00PM PST (to determine right time for your time zone you can use http://timeanddate.com/ converter). Right after, the album will be available as a free download from Ubiktune. Don't miss the event!
