I'm expecting to get my gameboy in a few weeks now, and I want to get ahead and familiarize myself a bit with LSDJ before I get down to composing. I don't want to ask you guys every single question there is (hai guyz wahts a table screen? hai guyz wahts the groove for? hai guyz wahts how do I make speech? hia guyz how do I.....)

What are the better guides and manuals out there that I can get, so I don't have to bother you every 3 days with a "hai guyz"?

no problem.

i'm sure vimeo has some as well, googling will help too, of course.

AND on this site, if you just poke around a while you'll find some worthwhile threads with tips/tricks and the like.

also check out the "LSDJ & You" series at http://www.noisechannel.org/

Kitsch is right.  I write a series of articles at noichan called "LSDJ & You."  http://www.noisechannel.org/category/lsdj-you

These articles are aimed at intermediate LSDJ users, though, and assume you know all the basics.

I really, really recommend starting out by reading the LSDJ manual http://www.littlesounddj.com/lsd/latest/documentation/

It's very informative and well-written.  Start there and then check out some beginner tutorials on YouTube.
