i looked to see whether this has been addressed previously- couldn't find it.

i attempted to change my avatar but to no avail. i chose the file i wanted (a 60x60 jpeg..identical in properties as the avatar i am attempting to change) but when i clicked 'update profile' the avatar stayed the same.

i have tried changing my settings to have no avatar, which works. but when i try and upload a new avatar it just reverts back to my old one. weird. i even tried using a different computer- same problem.

any ideas?

worked.. thanks. i probably shouldn't have to do that tho, right?

It's been like that for a while. Just a side effect of the way the site does avatars.
