Hi everyone,
Let me introduce myself since this is my first post. I'm Pierre, I make electro-house/Chiptune music.
I've been looking for a specific sound or set of sounds or a patch or whatever it is that makes the following sounds:

Song: Close to me (Henry Homesweet Remix)

0:08, 0:010, 0:12 and so on
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ace-XTmrZYg

Song: First Aid
0:30 to 1:00 that bleepy computer noise
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oiKfKp7hCGU

If anyone could help me out that would be great.
Thank You

Second one sounds like a boing sound, jumping up an octave. Kind of like King Hippo as an adolescent, his voice just beginning to drop...

experiment til you find it. making it yourself will keep the essence of the sound you're after, but it will be a bit different and not a carbon copy of the sound made and used by someone else.
Originality is dying out in electronic music imo because of over googling creative methods.
People want to go on youtube and google for these 'how to make skrillex bass werp in massive vst' and 'how to side chain saw bass to kick" to sound like 8898484 electro house tunes made previously. So uncreative and stupid. (im not saying thats what you do - just emphasising my point that if you put your mind to it you can make a sound of similar nature yourself and will feel more satisfied.)

These are pretty basic synth sounds, there are lots of ways you could recreate them with a decent synthesizer. There's no point in trying to find presets or patches, better to just learn basic synthesis and then you can recreate sounds like these very easily.

first one is just a bitcrushed sound - use this vst to achieve something like it ( http://freemusicsoftware.org/722 )

second one is a 50% square wave blip changing between 2 octaves fast
