Hi guys, sorry if this topic is somewhere covered on this forum, but I couldn't find an answer.

Ok, I never thought I was going to ask this, but I want a subtle wave bass (but not a triangle bass) and I have a real hard time getting that sound. I always seem the end up with filthy distored basses... I hope you guys can help!

Try a square wave on manual, and from there just fiddle with settings to make it sound the way you want smile

Try some hand-drawn waves.  I have a tutorial about it that might give you some ideas:

I find that a simple saw wave with a low-pass filter on manual makes for a nice, clean bass sound. You can adjust the volume and filter to make it more or less subtle.

you could get a nice deep NES-style bass with a sine (possibly tweaked a little to make it closer to triangle)
